GTCC CULINARY PROGRAM PREPS FOR THANKSGIVING PIE SALE

"JAMESTOWN, N.C. – The Guilford Technical Community College Culinary and Hospitality Club is gearing up for its annual Thanksgiving Pie Sale. From now until Nov. 19, the club is accepting orders for pumpkin, apple and pecan pies. All pies are 9 inches and cost $8 each. 

All proceeds from the sale will support the Culinary and Hospitality Club as well as the National Culinary Knowledge Bowl Team.

The annual sale is a much-anticipated campus and community tradition. Last year, the sale generated a little more than 500 pies.

The deadline to place an order is noon, Nov. 19.

Pies can be picked up between noon and 6 p.m. Nov. 25. at the Joseph S. Koury Hospitality Careers Center, second floor dining room (HM261), GTCC’s Jamestown Campus, 601 E. Main St., Jamestown. Pies that are not picked up will be donated to charity.
